We are pleased to announce that Ecanet Engineer has been formally enrolled as a certified supplier on the Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) Data Centre Panel 3 - SON 3945937.
Under this enrolment, Ecanet is approved to supply Offerings specifically within Category 2 - Prefabricated Data Centres. This milestone formally recognises Ecanet’s capability to deliver modular, prefabricated data centre infrastructure to the Australian Federal Government under a streamlined, fully compliant procurement framework.
What Category 2 Covers
Category 2 encompasses the complete build and supply of prefabricated, modular data centre solutions suitable for both indoor and demanding outdoor deployments. The scope covers:
All‑in‑One Containerised Solutions - fully self‑contained, pre‑tested units ready for immediate deployment.
Scalable Modular Systems - comprising separate IT Equipment (ITE) modules, Power modules, and Cooling modules that integrate to form contiguous, extensible data halls.
General Utility Modules - including test/build areas, control rooms, and office or kitchen facilities to support operations.
Associated Services - from design, site preparation, and installation through to ongoing maintenance, relocation, and end‑of‑life disposal.
Stringent Compliance & Performance Standards
All offerings under Category 2 must strictly adhere to:
Building Code of Australia and National Construction Code (NCC) (Class 10A Buildings).
Australian Standards for electrical installations (AS/NZS 3000), steel welding (AS/NZS 1554.1), and fire tests (AS 1530.4).
PSPF Release 2025 (Physical Security Measures) for Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS) and site surveillance (CCTV with pan/tilt/zoom, motion detection, and remote management).
NFPA 75 (Fire Protection for IT Equipment) and AS 1670 for fire detection and suppression.
Energy Efficiency - targeting a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.4 or less.
Service Levels - availability targets of 99.982% for power, cooling, and security systems (Tier III equivalent), with strict incident response times (30 minutes for Severity 1, 2-hour resolution targets).
