Bringing a wealth of experience in data centre design, construction and operations, Albert is responsible for the design of data centres and oversees technical aspects of product development. Previous projects of Albert’s have included the design and construction of Uptime Institute certified Tier data centres in Perth and abroad.

As a practising professional engineer for over 29 years, Albert has developed experience across the manufacturing, chemical and construction industries that demonstrates his disciplined work ethic and eye for detail. He is also an experienced data centre operator.

Kai Qu

Head of Making Things Work (Engineering Manager)

A decade of engineering experience and six years in project management under his belt, Kai Qu is a seasoned professional experienced in the complete engineering, procurement, and construction management of modular and colocation data centres, with expertise in robotic automation, HVAC systems, DCIM, and electrical infrastructure.

Kai has played an integral role in several data centre projects. He contributed to the successful construction and delivery of multiple modular data centres. Seasoned project manager and head of the ‘make things work’ engineering team.

Nikki Rensburg

Nikki has a stellar track record in the management of a variety of data centre projects in Australia and South Africa. Acting as Operations Manager to oversee the refinement of workflows to align with business needs and project rollout.

With 18 years of comprehensive experience in project management, Nikki is instrumental in overseeing day-today operations, contractor scheduling, and task coordination, ensuring that all project milestones and deliverables are met.

Luis Cortes

Luis has accumulated years of experience in the data centre sector, where he has demonstrated proficiency in both electrical and mechanical system design. He has contributed to the design of electrical and mechanical systems in various phases of data centre set-ups as well as the optimisation of critical systems.

Additionally, Luis’s background as a Research Assistant for advanced research in Electronic Engineer and Engineering Education has provided us the innovation for scalability and potential for our data centre.
